Camp Trapping School operates within the behaviour modification programme facilitated by the Charity Cariboo Action Training Society. The school services youth aged 13-18 years of age who have been mandated by the justice system to undertake the Camp Trapping program. Students throughout British Columbia attend Camp Trapping as a means of fulfilling their court obligations while simultaneously developing the skills necessary to create a positive life when they return to their community. Funded by the Ministry of Education’s Provincial Resource Program and administered by the Centre For Learning Alternatives the school provides students with the skills necessary to re-enter the public school system upon their graduation from Camp Trapping.
